It’s called La Mer Body Refiner Body Wash. It is a large brand name, and this particular body wash is apparently meant to be used against acne while also refining the pores and using 1.5 carats of pure diamond powder. I think I’ve heard of some celebrities using it, and obviously with diamond powder, you might get an exfoliating effect or something to that degree while harnessing the “power of diamonds.” This being said, frankly while gold has been proven to be a powerful antioxidant, diamonds haven’t been proven to have any effect on the skin at all. They’re hard certainly, but in powder form they’re not that hard anymore, and realistically do you really want to use something that hard and potentially sharp across your skin? Either way, they don’t really have any other ingredients that would fight acne or otherwise improve and protect the skin. And it costs quite a bit of money for the diamond powder. But you are paying for something that basically has no relevance to the current or otherwise growing problem. So if you want luxury coupled with results, use gold. But there are plenty of valid and effective acne treatments outside of anything like this.
