I Personally Love Birth Control - August 21st, 2009

For some reason, I got a lecture from the person who really doesn’t study anything about using birth control.  Frankly, I use it for general control and well fighting symptoms that disable the rest of my life like not being able to eat for about 5 days or so.  Fasting for a day or two is good, more than that not so good, especially when it extends to any liquids.  That’s just not healthy among other things.  But realistically speaking, birth control is not a bad thing.  She was on some rant about how it stops you from having kids in the future.  Well it has to wear off for a few months before you can really hope for results there.  But that’s life, and I’m not all that worried about it.  But in addition, stress levels go down in general terms in the body and quite frankly, not that being able to eat doesn’t help, but it also helps to reduce your acne and prevent breakouts in general, because in general terms it is actually balancing out the hormones.  There are certainly better ones than others.  But at the same point in time, there are risks.  If you have high blood pressure, etc.  If you use those that have to be medically inserted, well you can actually have them absorb up into the body, it’s really messy.  If you use the shots, you run a higher risk of blood pressure and heart problems along with a substantially higher risk of breast cancer.  If you smoke, there are various factors.  But if you fit into the box, it’s not such a bad thing.
