There are some parents who are more health conscious I’ve noticed than others. My parents went between the extremes. My dad let us do whatever we wanted and my mom was on every little element. I guess they balanced each other out, even if they drove each other nuts in the process. When dad was babysitting, we always knew there were certain things we wouldn’t have to eat, certain things we wouldn’t have to do, ouch, I say my dad was babysitting. But essentially speaking, he was more of the type to be a friend rather than a parent in so many ways, or at least until I was about 8 or so. This being said, my mom was really big into multi-vitamins. They had multi-vitamins at that time, gummies, fruit snack type things, and she was pretty good at picking ones that wouldn’t create a huge ordeal. Frankly, most people for various reasons don’t really think about giving their kids a multivitamin. After all, they’re just kids. But in all truth, it’s definitely something you should think about if you’re not thinking about it already. Kids need more of multi-vitamins to grow and develop just as adults need them for varying purposes. That’s part of the reason for prenatal vitamins, the extra needs of the fetus.
